Damian Green

Rt Hon Damian Green is a former Cabinet Minister who served as Member of Parliament for Ashford for 27 years.
During his parliamentary career, he held several senior government positions, including First Secretary of State (Deputy Prime Minister), Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, Minister for Immigration and Minister for Policing and Criminal Justice.
Damian also spent five years on the Digital, Culture, Media and Sport Select Committee, serving as Acting Chair in 2023. Earlier in his parliamentary career, he served on the Treasury and Home Affairs Select Committees.
He is currently Chair of the Social Care Foundation.
