Account Manager / Senior Account Manager (Strategic Communications)

We are looking for an ambitious Account Manager / Senior Account Manager with a passion for strategic communications to join our award-winning, growing company and play an influential role on campaigns for leading clients in their field.

This position is a fantastic opportunity for a public affairs or strategic communications professional eager to take their career to the next level. You’ll perform a vital role within the team and for cornerstone clients, advising on and implementing creative, thought-provoking campaigns across a range of interesting, topical issues. You’ll get involved across our client base, particularly in transport, energy and infrastructure, driving forward integrated communications programmes, coordinating effective delivery and solving client challenges. Overview

Job Title: Account Manager / Senior Account Manager (Strategic Communications)
Job Type: Full time, permanent position
Reports to: Associate Director
Location WA hybrid working: Central London office / working from home

Role specification & responsibilities

You’ll have a good level of agency experience, combined with a strong grounding in public affairs or strategic communications and knowledge of government, policy and media in infrastructure, especially energy and transport. Qualities and skills we value for this role include:

  • Experience of and achievement in delivering strategic communications campaigns, using creative tactics and channels to reach target audiences and effect change
  • Ability to analyse and communicate complex policy, regulatory and commercial issues quickly in a simple, clear and compelling way
  • Enjoy planning and managing projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget and to a high standard
  • Confident, results-focused self-starter able to balance multiple projects and competing deadlines
  • A dynamic, engaging and adaptable writing style
  • A client-centric attitude that prizes accessibility, responsiveness and outcomes
  • Good interpersonal, team-working and networking skills
  • A strong eye for detail and readiness to share insights
  • Desire to build on your strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
